Stussy

Stussy is a clothing line started in 1980 by famous surfboard designer, Shawn Stussy. Stussy would sell autographed t-shirts along with his boards.

As the clothing line expanded the company went from a surf wear following to more of an urban street wear vibe with a strong trendsetter following. It appealed to surfers, skaters, rappers, DJ’s and artists and musicians.

They now make everything from jackets to shoes, to backpacks and sunglasses, known as “Fresh Gear”. As of 2007 Stussy had over 60 stores world wide.
