The Vintage Fashion Guild™ (VFG) is an international community of people with expertise in vintage fashion. VFG members enjoy a wealth of resources, avenues for promoting their shops and specialties, and camaraderie with others who share a common interest and passion.
Nicole Farhi (b.1946) studied at Studio Bercot in Paris before working with designer Pierre D’Alby. She also worked at Agnes B and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. In 1973 Farhi went to London, where she worked with Stephen Marks on his label, French Connection. In 1983, Marks and Farhi launched the Nicole Farhi label. For her own label Farhi has designed clothes that are comfortable and easy to wear. She started a secondary line, Farhi, in 1988, and a menswear line in 1989.
