Vicky Tiel is best known for her ultra-sexy, form-fitting draped designs, executed in luxury fabrics and crafted in the manner of the couture. After graduating from the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, she moved to Paris where she joined Louis Feraud’s design team. Said by some to have ‘invented’ the mini-skirt, Ms. Tiel has also worked as a costume designer for movies, most notably What’s New Pussycat? in 1966. She has since opened a boutique in Paris in partnership with her friend Elizabeth Taylor, where she continues to cater to her high-profile clientele.
