Ralph Rucci studied design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and went on to work as a draper at Halston. He showed his first collection in 1981. In 1994 he started the label “Chado Ralph Rucci. He is known for his precise craftsmanship. In 2002 Rucci was invited to show haute couture in Paris, the first American to do so since Mainbocher. Currently the white label below is used in both ready-to-wear and in custom orders.
