Paper Moon was one of the many labels in the 1970s that relayed a sense of nostalgia. The movie, Paper Moon, which was set in the 1930s, had come out in 1973, a year before the label’s debut. There seems to be no relation between the two, however. The label was owned by Perfection Apparel in New York.
