The Vintage Fashion Guild™ (VFG) is an international community of people with expertise in vintage fashion. VFG members enjoy a wealth of resources, avenues for promoting their shops and specialties, and camaraderie with others who share a common interest and passion.
Frederic Molenac (b. 1964) was born in Pau, France and attended the Bercot Institute. Early in his career he worked for Claude Montana and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Molenac started his label in 1987. Beginning with the Fall 1996 season, he designed the accessories and ready-to-wear lines for Gres. He left this position in 1998 to concentrate on his own label. In 2001 he showed a couture line, but his house closed in 2002.
