Hickey’s was a better Detroit area store, established in 1900. It was located in Grosse Pointe, a wealthy bedroom community, just to the east of Detroit. In 1997 they merged with Walton-Pierce and became Hickey’s/Walton-Pierce. The store closed in 2009.
