Frost Brothers was a San Antonio, Texas department store that opened in 1917. The store was quite high-end and at one point even had an in-house Gucci boutique. In 1972 the company was bought by Manhattan Industries and through the 1970s and 1980s more stores were added under the Frost name. By 1986 there were twelve branches, but two years later the company filed for bankruptcy protection. All the stores were closed in 1989.
