Beverly Feldman (1950- ) was born and raised in Massachusetts, receiving her professional training at Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute. Majoring in shoe illustration and design, she graduated in 1965.

After graduation she worked as an art director for Doris Weston Inc. and as a shoe illustrator for both Glamour and Mademoiselle magazines. She then went on to I. Miller as a designer in the 1970s, moving on to become a design director, first at Pankin, then at Andrew Geller.

She opened her first business, Lucky Lizard Trading Company, in Alicante Spain, when she was 31 years old. Known for her glitzy, glamorous and whimsical (yet comfortable) shoe designs. She designs shoes she herself wears and her collections include stilettos, boots & flats.
