Duke of Hollywood was a men’s sportswear company. It was in operation as early as 1942 and lasted until at least 1977. The surfer on the early label tends to suggest a connection to the famous Hawaiian surfer, Duke Kahanamoku. Kahanamoku’s name was on a shirt line, but it was for another company, Cisco, a New York company.

Duke of Hollywood was owned by partners Jack Jallins and Marty Fields.
