Sheilagh Brown was a designer in partnership with Sheridan Barnett in the 1970s, trading under the name ‘Barnett and Brown’. She joined Marks & Spencer as head of women’s wear design in 1990. Brown is now a professor – she was Philip Treacy’s tutor at the RCA.
