The graphic, thick bold stripes of the zebra have made their skins highly coveted throughout time.
Hard to believe, but their stripes are actually white and very dark brown!
Not only is zebra hide visually pleasing to look at it is very durable, making it a great hide to use for purses & handbags, wallets, belts, and shoes. Rugs are actually the largest market.
Make sure that the zebra skin you are purchasing comes from the non-endangered Burchell’s zebra and NOT from the endangered Grevy’s or Hartman species.
Always purchase from a reputable dealer and ask for legal paperwork and or documentation that should accompany your purchase.
