Michael Mott was one of the young designers hired by Paraphernalia starting in 1965. He also designed jewelry fashioned from mirrors and rhinestones. When the Fillmore East opened in 1968, Mott’s wife Barbara, wearing a black leather bra and skirt designed by her husband, rode a Harley up the aisle to the stage, as part of a fashion happening staged by Bill Graham.
