Tambourine hat is a shaped much like an actual tambourine. It is a small circular shallow disk which sets on the top of the head, sometimes at a tilt. The defining detail is the unique underside which has wide solid edges with a small center or back hole which sets on the head. There always has to be a placement band for security.
