The Vintage Fashion Guild™ (VFG) is an international community of people with expertise in vintage fashion. VFG members enjoy a wealth of resources, avenues for promoting their shops and specialties, and camaraderie with others who share a common interest and passion.
The Pandora Sweater company was around since 1936 – first use in commerce 1938. The Scotchkin trademark, for a variety of wool yarn (“closest to Shetland”) used in the sweater – first use/commerce in 1957.
For many years the “Pandora” and “Scotchkin” were used together, but separate entities. Eventually, they merged into “Pandora Scotchkin” around 1979.
The entire brand was defunct by 2001, although that’s just when the 10-year renewal expired. They may have been done with long before then.
