Lee Claire was a dress company which specialized in better cocktail, dinner and evening dresses. It was started, probably in the late 1920s, by Irving Glaser. In the 1960s, the “Tux-Mate” label was started by Lee Claire. It was geared toward a younger customer, and was cut in junior sizing.
