The Vintage Fashion Guild™ (VFG) is an international community of people with expertise in vintage fashion. VFG members enjoy a wealth of resources, avenues for promoting their shops and specialties, and camaraderie with others who share a common interest and passion.
Beginning in the 1970s, Native Hawaiian designer Allen Akina (1940–1991) produced fashions under several labels in Hawaiʻi. His mostly custom made, hand silk-screened fabric designs reference Hawaiian culture and its people in his paintings, illustrations, and textiles.
