Teal Traina (b. 1917) was the nephew of Anthony Traina, Norman Norell’s financial partner. Teal Traina produced women’s ready-to-wear and evening wear starting in the 1950s. Geoffrey Beene worked there from 1958 through 1963. In the late 1960s through 1971 and again starting in 1975, Dominic Rompollo was the designer at Teal Traina. The business closed in 1978 when Mr. Traina retired.

Traina was also a partner with Malcolm Starr in Gino Charles.
