Selman’s, then owned by Grier Corporation , was bought then by Thal Bros. Selman’s was sold in 1961 for $1 million to Weiss Bros., aka Gus Mayer’s ( Weiss bought Gus Mayers in 1934) and used both H.P. Selman’s and Selman’s labels from at least 1958 – 1966.
