Mme. Lichtenstein was Antoinette Lichtenstein. She started out on East 46th Street in New York City as a milliner, but moved to Park Avenue in 1932. There she sold a wide variety of women’s clothing: dresses, suits, gowns, coats, sportswear and hats. It appears that she closed shop in the early 1940s.
